Thesis (Diàspora 2012)

Final Thesis Presentation

Winner of the Best IED Thesis 2012 for the Visual Communication department. Judged by Yorokobu magazine
The Guerilla Campaign
Final Thesis Presentation by Dandelion Design. An International Group made of Art Direction, Illustration and Graphic Design students from IED Barcelona.
This project was proposed and aproved by Diàspora, an event organized by Imago Barcelona, which its aim is to create awareness towards current global problems. This year's theme was Biocivilization.
We re-designed their logo and corporate identity, created their image for this years theme and a communication strategy and guerrilla campaign.
Our three main concepts were Transformation, Dynamism and colectivity.
The guerrilla campaign came from the concept that "you are not alone"  and "you cannot change the world if you do not change something about yourself" so we went out in the streets of Barcelona with a ten meter cloth and asked the passers-by to donate their first step towards change.
Inside this step they wrote down their own personal change and within three hours more than 400 people had donated their step and change.
We also created a new Facebook like page where we dynamised the campaign online.
All together, we reached more than 10,000 people in only two weeks.
The whole project won the prize for the Best IED Thesis 2012 in the area of visual communication.
